Kathryn Fox Ma,  President & CEO

Brava! was founded in January 2015, by Kathryn Fox Ma – to design and sell fashions specifically focused on the unique needs of women in the Performing Arts.  She is a founding member of the Lamplighters Music Theatre Guild, and is an active fund-raiser.

Kathryn has over 30 years of experience in the fashion industry, in two of the world’s leading fashion centers, New York and San Francisco.  She’s worked  both retail and wholesale for leading companies, including Liz Claiborne, and Cole Haan.  She is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco with a degree in Merchandising/Marketing.

 

Carol Ann Bain Campbell, Fashion Director

Carol Ann has led a life most interesting.  Her twenty-five page resume concerns her work with professional athletes like Rosie Casals, a stint with hot air ballooning, her reign as a Texan beauty queen and her work in New York with Oleg Cassini.  Brava! welcomes Carol as our new Fashion Director, where she’ll be working with Affiliates and models, and giving valuable input on all things Brava!

Carole Wang, Designer

Carole Wang, a San Francisco Bay Area Designer, has been designing women’s fashions for over thirty years.  Born in China, she came to the United States with seventy-five dollars in her pocket. “Design was born in my nature,” She said, referring to her classes at F.I.T. in New York.  Designing flattering clothing for women from thirty to sixty with real bodies is a real priority.  Carole’s New York-based clothing, with sales close to five million dollars, sold in stores like Neiman Marcus. Henri Bendel, and Nordstrom’s.  These days Carole designs out of her Fremont headquarters, and only sells to boutiques.  Her Performance Attire  designs are customized just for the unique requirements of the Brava! clientele, and are only available through Brava!
